Can I call someone with questions about Lexmark Rewards?
Absolutely. Specific questions about the Rewards program should be directed to the Lexmark Rewards customer support team. You can call Lexmark Rewards customer support at 1-800-834-7791 Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Saturday 12 PM to 6 PM ET.
Can my Rewards account be linked to the online store account?
Yes, definitely—however, you might have noticed that recently we’ve completely updated and streamlined our site to better serve our customers. This included creating a new online store, and we have been busy transferring as many Rewards accounts as possible from the old online store to the new online store.
Purchases made before October 26, 2009, may take as much as a week or more to be reflected in your new Rewards account.
You’ll soon be all set to keep earning all the Rewards benefits your valued online shopping deserves. For help with your Lexmark Rewards account, or if you are unsure whether or not to open a new account, contact the Lexmark Rewards customer support team at 1-800-334-7791.
What is the Lexmark Rewards program?
In short, it’s a great way to save money, be environmentally responsible, and enjoy top-quality genuine Lexmark supplies all at the same time. Here’s how Ink Rewards works:
- Sign up to join Lexmark Rewards
- Each time you purchase eligible ink cartridges from Lexmark.com, the status of your Lexmark Rewards will be updated.
- After your fifth cartridge purchase within 12 months, we will send you an email to the address you specified when you signed up. This email will have a promo code for a free cartridge and a special link to Lexmark.com that you must use when you redeem the promo code. Promo codes must be redeemed within three months from the date they are used. You can also sign in to the Lexmark Rewards site to see your status at any time. How do I redeem my rewards?
You may either use the link that was emailed to you with the promo code, or you may log on to www.LexmarkRewards.com and click the "Get Your Free Cartridges Now" button. Only these links will allow you to get free shipping with your free cartridge. Promo codes are valid for three months and will expire if not used within that time. Only one promo code can be redeemed per online transaction. If you have one or more promo code to redeem, you must click these links again and start a new transaction.

What is my order status?
You can access your order information anytime you want. First, let’s find the order you are interested in.

You might have noticed that we’ve completely updated and streamlined our site to better serve our customers. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Best yet, you can use your card with confidence, thanks to our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.
We currently do not accept international credit cards.
When will my credit card be charged?
Lexmark is all about top-quality tools to make you more productive and save you money. So for any physical product you order (as opposed to downloads, warranties, etc.), we will not bill your card until your order is actually shipped. This includes backordered or preordered items, as well as items shipped separately—we will bill your card only when each item is shipped.
How will the charge appear on my credit card?
The charge will appear on your credit card as: Lexmark.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
This depends on your order, where you are ordering from, and where you are shipping to. But don’t worry, we take care of it for you during checkout—immediately after you have entered your billing and/or shipping address, we will calculate any applicable sales tax and add it to your total for you to review.
Sales Tax Exemptions: We will gladly credit sales tax for tax exempt entities. Just fax us your receipt or order number and a copy of your tax-exemption form with an address matching your order's billing or shipping address. Fax number: 1-972-881-5038.
How can I get a copy of my invoice?

Can I order without a credit card?
We only accept credit cards at this time.
What address should I enter in the billing information screen?
For credit card verification, you must enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. You do not need to enter a middle name or initial.
How do I enter a different shipping address?
If you are ordering a physical product (as opposed to downloads, warranties, etc.), a shipping information page will be included during checkout. This is where you can enter a separate shipping address and also choose your shipping method.
Should I add spaces or dashes when entering my credit card number?
No. Your card number should be entered in as a continuous string of numbers.
My credit card wasn’t accepted—what’s going on?
There are several potential reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit. Or a credit card computer, either on our end or your bank's end, may have encountered a machine error.
If you do have problems, you can contact Customer Service for assistance. Please provide them any error message numbers you may have received, as well as the order number from the shopping cart.

Do you ship to my country?
We currently ship inside the United States and its territories, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
I live outside the US—will I have to pay customer fees?
The Lexmark online store currently does not ship outside the United States or its territories, Puerto Rico, Guam and Virgin Islands.
When will my backordered items ship?
We make every effort to run an efficient warehouse and stock most of our items ready to ship in days. However, occasionally an item will be backordered. The average backordered item ships in 1–2 weeks.
You will receive e-mail notification as soon as the product ships. As a reminder, your credit card will not be charged until your order has been shipped.
Can I change my shipping address after I’ve placed my order?
Unfortunately, you can not change your shipping address after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the fulfillment agency and can no longer be changed by our system. Rest assured, however, that if your order is not successfully delivered, it will be returned to the warehouse and Lexmark will credit your account.

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Due to shipper restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes as primary shipping addresses. However, we do ship to APO/FPO addresses.
If I want my order to ship the same day, what time do I need to order by?
In-stock orders placed on or before 3 P.M. EST will typically ship out the same business day. Due to order processing times this is not guaranteed.
What is the shipping surcharge?
Because some Lexmark items are uniquely heavy or unusually sized, shipping them requires an additional surcharge. This includes laser printers, multifunction printers, laser printer accessories, and a few other products.
How are the shipping charges calculated?
We try to make shipping as efficient as possible, and as simple as possible too. Please use the following chart to calculate your order’s shipping rate:

What’s the deal with "cookies" and why does Lexmark want me to accept them?
Cookies are a way for Lexmark.com to recognize you and facilitate your shopping and service experience so that you have fewer forms to fill out and in general have a more efficient visit. In other words, we rely on them to help serve you better.
Because cookies read information on your hard drive, you might think they contain personal information. But actually, all a cookie contains is a unique identifier so that our system can recognize you and your browser. And for an even further level of security, our commerce system encrypts all cookies so that they cannot be read by any other web page.
How do I set up my browser to accept cookies?
If you're using Internet Explorer 6+, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window, select the Privacy tab. The default browser setting is medium, which allows you to accept cookies. To change this setting, move the slider to determine which setting you prefer. If your setting has been set to Custom, click the Advanced button and choose Accept Cookies.
If you're using Internet Explorer 5.x, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window, select the Security tab. Select Internet, then Custom Level. Scroll down to Cookies and choose Enable.
If you're using Netscape 7+, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. Double-click the Privacy & Security category, select Cookies. Set your Cookies preferences.
Returns and Cancellations
What is your refund policy?
At Lexmark, we want your shopping experience to be as rewarding and productive as possible, and we recognize that not all purchases work out for one reason or another. So we are happy to offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all out products that are returned in the original packaging.
Products returned to Lexmark outside the 30 day window will not be eligible for credit without a valid RMA. Lexmark shall have the right to recycle and/or otherwise dispose of unauthorized returns.
Please contact Customer Service to start the refund process or follow the instructions your packing slip / invoice.
What is your returns policy?
At Lexmark, we want your shopping experience to be as rewarding and productive as possible, and we recognize that not all purchases work out for one reason or another. We therefore try to make the returns process as simple as possible.
Please follow these steps to make a return:
- Contact Customer Service to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA). You will need to provide order number, date of purchase, and reason for return.
- When they give you the RMA, Customer Service will also give you easy instructions for filling out the packing slip return form and for shipping the return.
Please Keep in Mind:
- All returns must have an RMA.
- All returns must be sent in original packaging.
- We are not able to give product exchanges.
Can I cancel my order?
After an order is placed, it is sent immediately to our fulfillment warehouse for shipment and can not be cancelled. However, once you receive your order, you may certainly return items as needed. After all, we want you to be happy with your purchase and return again and again.
How do I request a refund?
To obtain a refund for physical product(s) purchased online (that is, anything not a download, warranty, etc.), This information is located on the back side of the packing slip you received with your order. You may also contact a Customer Service agent for help. Software downloads are not accepted for returns.
When will my credit appear on my credit card?
Once the return is received, please allow 7–10 business days for the credit to appear on your account. Credit will be issued via the credit card used for your original purchase only.
