Lexmark Document Distributor is a flexible document-routing application that automates manual processes by giving users the power to scan, fax, copy, print, e-mail or archive from the push of a button.

Features

Lexmark's Document Distributor v3.3 integrates into an environment's workflow by enabling job processes that can be initiated from a Lexmark MFP or from a user workstation.

Integrates preprinted and electronic documents into your workflow

Documents can be distributed in formats to multiple destinations simultaneously including network printers, fax machines, E-mail servers, file servers and database systems, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise and Lotus Domino.Doc.

OCR capability allows creation of searchable PDF and RTF documents while maintaining page layout and formatting (using optional OCR CD).

Bar code capability allows the reading and writing of most commonly used bar code formats (using optional Bar Code CD).

User prompting can be used to obtain more information needed to complete a process. Examples include provide indexing information for document archive; provide e-mail, fax or other data for delivery options; input of account or department numbers for bar code creation.

Equips desktop Lexmark MFPs with customized workflow capabilities through Lexmark Document Solutions Desktop.

Full integration with Lexmark Document Producer and Lexmark Document Portal, which creates a powerful combination of features.
