Lexmark Products with Hard Disk Capability

If your Lexmark product is listed on this table, it was either shipped with a hard disk drive as standard equipment or can be optionally equipped with a hard disk. This table describes the built-in security capabilities of these products and the steps that Lexmark recommends to protect the contents of the installed hard disk when you are ready to retire or dispose of your Lexmark product.
If you are certain your Lexmark product is equipped with a hard disk but you do not see it listed here, it is most likely an older model with very limited, if any, built-in security protection. In that case, removing and destroying the hard disk at end of life is strongly recommended.
